L'UNI with a new tenant

POWRÓT

Modern office building L'UNI, located in the centre of Wrocław, is expanding its group of tenants. Already in August an IT company will move in. The office of 350 sq.m. will be distinguished by its unique location and the view of the Oder River.

"L'UNI is an exceptional office building. Not only because of its location, heritage of the building and beautiful view of the Oder River, but most of all its modernity, spaciousness and space arrangement possibilities, which are not offered by any other building in this part of Wrocław. I am glad that a company from IT sector has appreciated L'UNI's potential. I am convinced that the office space with individual and creative arrangement, which will be oriented at cooperation with people, good atmosphere and friendly working environment, will influence the effectiveness and development of the new tenant," - comments Waldemar Weintritt responsible for investor's supervision over L'UNI on behalf of JP Weber.

L'UNI grows in the former building of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Wroclaw Medical Academy. The name of the building refers to the French word "L'Université", which is inseparably connected with the history of the place. This neo-Renaissance building from 1866 is located in the Old Town area, next to the main building of the University of Wrocław, and offers an exceptional view of the Oder River. The revitalisation of the building started in mid-2020 and is being carried out under the watchful eye of the conservation officer. The completion date is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022. Both the investor and the studio responsible for the project, "Maćków Pracownia Projektowa", want to restore the building's former glory and combine its historical architecture with modern solutions. Ultimately, the office building will offer approx. 3 600 sq. m of office space and the upper storey will be glazed to provide a panoramic view of the University Bridges, Tamka Street and Słodowa Island.

"Wrocław has been one of the leading Polish cities for many years and its potential is appreciated by both local companies and international corporations. It is an attractive choice for companies, among others because of the wide base of universities providing access to educated employees. An additional advantage are the numerous investments in infrastructure development in recent years. Therefore, we are not surprised that in Q1 2022 we observed high tenant activity, the result of which was the best among all regional cities. The transaction volume amounted to 38,400 sqm, which was an increase of 85% compared to the same period last year. As a resident of the city, I can confidently say that we have not said our last word yet," - adds Anna Patrzyk-Sperzyńska, Associate Director at Knight Frank, who is responsible for the commercialization of the building.
